Английские cultural и cultured, сходные по форме, соответствуют русскому прилагательному культурный в различных его значениях. Cultural означает 'культурный, имеющий отношение к культуре': cultural centre, cultural advance, cultural revolution. Cultured имеет значение 'культурный, находящийся на высоком уровне культуры': cultured person, а также 'культивируемый, не дикий, (о растениях): cultured plants.
